Too Coal for school...

If you dare to watch the US every now and then, perhaps with the help of comedians like Trevor Noah in the 'Today Show', you might find coal being the hot topic of last week's news...Thanks/due to The US president it is probably the negotiations with China this week, something new and conflicting about the POTUS every week, right? Anyway, coal should not become a fuel anymore.

On the bright site, charcoal has never been hotter in skincare. So let's hear it for the positive about some of my skincare finds...

  • I have been trying out a couple of Charcoal soaps, and I find the Bamboo Charcoal soap from Funky Soap London to be one of the purest with the best bit of mint inside. As I said in my last posts, my psoriasis had been flaring up like a Australian forest fire in their summer and this has been one of the few soaps my skin could  1. tolerate 2. clean gently and 3. clear up the flare ups partly. Now my skin is a lot healthier, this soap feels amazing in purifying the skin and I love to wash my face with it too, as a part of step 2 of the double cleanse. Funky Soap London sells these big chunks of soap on etsy (here) for €4.00 and shipping is rather reasonable too.
  • I think that Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser has been discussed frequently on blogs and the Gram. I agree this is a gorgeous facewash and the warming element makes it feel like it's working even more effectively opening and purifying the pores. Hence, it gets my supporting vote as well.
  • I stumbled upon Ecodenta Black whitening Toothpaste after I was looking for a more affordable option for the very hyped Sister & Co Raw Coconut & Activated Charcoal Tooth Whitening. Ecodenta is indeed under a fiver and I already see a whitening effect on a more natural base. Perhaps the ingredient of €30-ish Sister & Co would have been a tad more pure, nevertheless the shipping -carbon waist- would add more polution to the environment. Ecodenta is produced in the Baltic States but Holland & Barrett import it in a larger frequency. Oh heck, the price is better ; )
  • The mascara featured has nothing to do with added charcoal but I really liked the look of it, and the brush. This Outdoor Girl mascara has a dryer formula but I use the brush only right now with my other mascara's.
  • I bought a couple of travel sized Byredo candles during the christmas season, and Bibliothèque has been one of my favourites because of the bookish, vintage scent. Do not worry you will only smell old books as the violet's will bring in that hopeful scent of young femininity of a girl who hopes her lovelife will be as exhilarating as the romantic novels she is reading.
Charcoal can be effective as a purifying product, and with some additional ingredients they can work in synch with helping your skin to get the desired effect. For example, by adding Tumeric you can also help to calm down inflamed skin, and turmeric would even function as an anti-ager. Personally, I had extremely sensitive skin and charcoal has been one of the few ingredients I could tolerate.

Besides these featured products, I have also tried some other hyped charcoal products. One of them was Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask. I found that Freeman version to be so incredibly overfraganced compared to the purer versions featured above, and my facial skin got irritated after using it. Hence, I do not believe every and any charcoal product would be best, so better do your research and use the purer versions when having sensitive skins.

Eye Prime me up: Kanebo Kate Lash Maximizer Black vs Diorshow Maximizer lash Plumping Serum

Out with the new, in with the newer!

That might sum up the review I will bring about on 3 eyelash primers. There's actually an old one too, but it performs similarly as the newer, only in a different colour.

For reviewing sake let me introduce: Kanebo Kate Mascara Base, Kanebo Kate Lash Maximizer Black & Dior Diorshow Lash Plumping Serum.

Starting with 'old': Kanebo Kate Eyelash Base. It has been on the market for more than 6 years. Eyelash primers have only taken a more prominent role on the Western market recently but they have been favourite tools among Asian lash-afficionados for a longer time. I only know it for about 6 years but it has been a miracle tool for keeping my curl and having made-up lashes.

Recently Kate introduced a newer version of the lashbase that I reviewed here. I picked the white version that I used up quite efficiently. Afterwards I went for the rave-reviewed Western Diorshow Lash Maximizer.

Though lovingly moisturizing for my lashes, it did not keep my eyelashcurler-primed lashes into a decent curl.

Thus out with the new...in with the newer:

Comparing the different brushes & colour of the primer:

My oldest version of Kanebo Kate Lash Base comes with a straight but soft-haired brush. The formula is supposed to be totally white, but sometimes I transfer the black of the tightliner into the tube again. I do clean up my brush after priming by removing everything with a tissue, but sometimes a tiny bit of black eyepencil stays on and it turns into a greyish mass. That's also a reason I replace eyeprimers oftenly, for hygienic reason.

As said in the earlier review: I love how it performs. Length & keeps the curl in it's form. The only thing is that you have to coat every lash with mascara afterwards to stop the white base from appearing.

That's when the newer version Kate Lash Maximizer in Black makes such a fantastic primer: you can either plump up your lashes with extra mascara or keep the coat for as it is.

Kate Lash Maximizer Black has a sparse amount of fibres included. They are fewer than in the white version of the Lash Maximizer's series. That might be a relief for people not liking over-fibre-ish bases.
As for the black colour: it appears rather glossy on the eyelashes. Perhaps not the blackest of black but I do think it appears in the truest colour most mascara brands would market they colour 'black'. Only few brands like Hourglass Film Noir make an inky black glossy version that almost glistens from your eyelashes; the rest somewhat varies in colour and gloss factor.

The brush is a classic, slightly bend one with synthetic but bendable hairs. The formula holds up really long: I'd say it hold like a waterproof version. At least, the base survives a shower whereas the 'topping' mascara on top lovingly merges on my cheeks. So I suggest a good waterproof mascara cleanser for removing every trace.

Which brings me why Diorshow was not really into my alley: I already mentioned the formula not lenghtening my lashes enough, nor keeping my curl in place. Then there's the brush:
Brushes are a matter of taste and perhaps of the type of eyelashes you have. I never really liked the plastic brushes with their short but stiff ends. That is precisely the type of brush on the Diorshow Lash serum.

On the positive side: it removes a lot easier than Kate's formula. I guess that makes it perfect for lashes that are easier to be curled/already curly.

I cannot say too much about the lash-serum effect. I've used it too sporadically to notice a difference.

Conclusion: I prefer the cheaper & more effective Kanebo Kate and love the new black version of it.

Used Up's / June

Late to the party for a quick round of my most important used up's...

Hair
I've been blogging about sampling up some Less is More hairproducts and I've finished up the Lindengloss conditioner. The 30ml has lasted me quite a while: about 7 times for long hair. I really liked how this organic conditioner performed: soft & silky feel, no heaviness or weird residue and it smells amazing. However, when I had the opportunity to buy full-sized I kind of steeped back from the price. The sample size is a reasonable € 6, but a full-size € 23. I still have some other quality conditioners to use up so I will consider, but wait before going full-size.
*,
 Makeup:
Paul & Joe's finishing powder is from the Sahara collection from 2010. Long long time ago...I had a darker colour (002) so I only use it in summer when having [faux] tan. It is really good, though: a micro-thin quality that doesn't alter the foundation underneath, and can also be used on a good skinday alone without foundation. I would gladly repurchase.
*
Mask:
Osmia Detox Mask has gotten quite the hype among organic and concious bloggers, and from that field it gotten known among everyone that wants a good, detoxing mask (like me, see here).  I really liked it when living in the Mediterranean: my skin gotten weirdly oily and pimply-> heat & polluted air. A good claymask helped to remove remaining sunblock, some oiliness etc etc. However, I liked it but it has not been the complete miracle worker. I'm somewhat convinced that there are cheaper clay-mask options out there, but the mix of ingredients are quite good.
*
Lash:
I'm on my 3rd tube of YSL shocking mascara. It's not the complete HG but it has some excellent varieties of colours around. People with chameleon eyes like myself can have a cute effect by changing a hint around the colour of the eyes. E.G, a blue, burgundy or a purple can change my colour into a more green or blue, depending of what I like. YSL Shocking doesn't do dreadful 80s colours, only a slight hint. And the formula is delightfully thick and glossy without going clumpy.
#
RapidLash, I've finished my 2nd tube and I get a longer result every time I use it. I never get irritations from it either. In fact, I'm on the more expensive Revitalash right now, but I feel it irritates my eyes. I think I will just repurchase Rapidlash instead.
*
Oil:
Caudalie has done an excellent job in creating their Polyphenol C15 line. This sample has been feeling both detoxing and youth-i-fying for my skin, and I've only been trying it for 2 nights! I will go for the bigger bottle.
 *
Serum:
I took the full plunge by buying a full size of Caudalie Polyphenol C15 antiwrinkle defense Serum. I've been using it superconsistently (morning/evenings) for one and a half month and I absolutely was stunned about the plumping effect. Moreover, the price was under €40 so not that ridiculously expensive price some companies ask for their serums. I'm not sure if it will be HG material if my skin gets sensitive (thinking winter) because the amount of fragance is somewhat present, but for the moment I really like this one.

Kanebo Kate Long & Curl mascara vs Kose Fasio Curl & Lock

I would like to discuss two mascaras I have been testing lately: Kose Fasio Curl & Lock mascara and the latest Kanebo Kate long & Curl mascara:

I was able to skip on the superduper curl-holding Asian mascaras as I'd been faking it for a while. That is, I gotten eyelash extensions and they come with their own curl...almost every mascara will do if you have them.
Only, I wanted a break from the "doll-eyes" because they left my original lashes quite sparse and thin:
And I do not have the cute face this adorable one has above...

Both mascaras have the name "curl" in their description and that was my main goal: keeping the curl in the miniature eyelashes.
Ofcourse, length is my second and perhaps a shared first place desire for me!

And with Kate's promise to give a "lash extension" effect:

So there's the first difference in promise. Fasio promising to "lock" in your curl. Kate works on two levels for keeping your "curl" and making them "long".

This aspect is visible in the texture of the mascara:
Fibres, you either love them or dislike them in mascaras. I sort of like them when I have natural lashes. I consider Kate's fibers to be one of the thinnest varieties I have come across.

Colour:
Kate Long & Curl has an inky blackness in it's texture. Similar to Fasio Curl & lock. Fasio dries up in a slighter glossier way whereas Kate brings out a softer and more natural opaque black.

Verdict:
  • Fasio keeps the curl longer than Kate. Kate is slightly droopy after 10 hrs.
  • Fasio Curl & Lock feels like a sort of superglue: perhaps too much on really thin lashes (I'll will use it with another brush soon to see if I get a finer result)
  • Kate Long & Curl brings about a soft fluttery, longer lash with a beautiful curl
  • Kate's fibers extend the lashes in a natural way
  • Both last the whole day until the super-removers step in
  • The colour of Kate is a soft, candlelight black: Fasio has a glossier black colour.
Conclusion:
If both would be combined it would be the best of worlds. I prefer Kanebo Kate Long & Curl for thin and short lashes: it has a natural, fluttery look, only does not keep the curl as long. I think that Fasio Curl & lock is a better choice for thicker eyelashes, when you want a glossier black, a longer-lasting  curl, and for people who do not like fibres in their mascaras.

Availability:
Both are to be found on Adambeauty: Kate Long & Curl over here and Fasio Lock & Curl over here

Newbies

Chanel 42 Seduction:
I succumbed for the new, despite my vigorous attempts to like, rediscover, swatch and sometimes diss (see my last post) the older palettes I have.
I am not the greatest Chanel eyeshadow lover but the neutral composition was totally alluring. Also the spokesmodel/face for Chanel, Giselle, embodies this natural-esque beauty I really like and relate to.

Givenchy Le Rouge:
The leather case made me buy this...the stud too.

Fasio Mascara Ultra Curl lock volume:
One word= Drivellerkate (or one image: Drivellerskate's lashes)

Newbies

Goodie, I haven't planned any no-buy so I am glad I could stock up on some beauty items

1. Fairydrops Mascara in Long & Curl Always a good excuse to buy mascara as you have to replace them oftenly in order to keep the lashes fresh

2. L'oréal Professional hairmasks: Left is the Nature Re-Naitre and the turquoise one is their latest Pro-Keratin refill.

I will keep you updated how it works. I hope I don't chat too much about hairstuff but it's my thing at the time being ;-)

3. SpaceNK Sale haul:
WOWEEEEE,  the first surpise it that they deliver to Europe again and the sale was superduper excellent. I bought a Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited in PK 375 based on Driveller's Kate swatches (here). And a Laura Mercier mini Palette from the Christmas 2012 range in Smokey Taupes.

Dejavu Lash Knockout Mascara

I have been writing about Dejavu before, thus it's almost looks like a Dejavu moment. Ok, not really because this isn't the standard dejaVu fiberlash.

I basically said that I liked the original DejaVu as it is one of those easy products that both keeps the curl AND (capital letters) removes easily. Most people knowing their curl-keeping mascaras, either waterproof or Asian, will have their arsenal of removers ready-set-go in their beauty cupboards. Because how else would you remove the total stubbornness from your eyes that gladly keeps up your delicately crafted curl with the mechanic eyelash curler in the morning?

With this easy on-easy off formula of the original DejaVu compromised on volume. It lenghtened, but not as fabulous as Majolica Majorca lash Expander, or the combination of Kanebo Kate mascara-primer and some high end DiorShow or another mega plumper/lenghtener.

Then I used the Lash Knockout version and...tadaaa...I have more thickness.

Comparing brushes: thickness of the Collection 2000 Fake Lashes is similar to Dior DiorShow mascara
So it's one of those typical mid-size brushes you see in most mascara brands these days. Not those thin brushes aiming for lenght, or those comb-brushes. However, it is not of those scary, big (and sometimes not useful for defining) megabrushes either that almost seem to swamp lashes.

VERDICT:
  • more volumising/thickening than the original DejaVu Fiberwig. More thickening than Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus (but that one is more lenghtening due to its fibers)
  • Good thickening: not the superdrama as the combination Kanebo Kate eyelash primer/Dior Show, but the removal time is less too.
  • apply carefully, as you can actually overplump in one stroke
  • Washes off relatively easily with the right temperature of water (lukewarm to warm) in tiny flakes
  • Most women probably still have to use some eyemakeup remover to remove the remains of the other eyemakeup (pencil/eyeshadow), but the stubborn rubbing to eyelashes is gone (ok, never do that...just hold the cotton pad gently with the remover to the eye and stroke delicately).
  • jet-black colour: not really glossy but neither matte.

CONCLUSION:

Season changes can make my eyes more sensitive, and sometimes even the most suitable-for-sensitive-eyes removers can be too much. Furthermore, the curl-holding mascaras I often use need the stronger bi-oily removers. To skip this step (or just around the eyes for other eye-makup) I can rely on DejaVu Knockout, without compromising on thickness. It keeps a defined, full and curly lash for the whole day until I rinse my eyes with lukewarm water. The price is not too expensive for around $16, although Sasa seems to be sold out again, I found it here and here.

Eye Love 2

Fiberwig Mascara:

Of all my Asian and Western mascara this is not the most lengthening or thickening. However, it is the best when having a period of sensitive eyes or when travelling: only apply (luke)warm water and it dissolves in gummy clunks: no rubbing or pressing the eye with (even the gentlest) removers, just your warm water will do.

(also, a big pro above most Western mascaras: it is able to hold the curl in my stubbornly straight eyelashes)

Beauty-spotted: Coloured Mascara

I spotted this awesome picture on the website of the French Vogue...

I cannot believe how gorgeous this blue mascara looks on brown or hazel eyes. It's like her lashes do all the talking and her hair and face is wonderfully toned down...only a slightly rose-nude lipstick/lipbalm and a good foundation graces her face (probably some work on her brows too, but nothing too unnatural).

I entirely tracked down the purple version from my beauty drawer: it's from MakeupForever and I know purple has the ability to make green eyes stand out a bit more.

Absolute 80s revival for the ones who (slightly) remembered the coloured mascara...

Some newbies

I got a couple of new thingies:

I'm starting with pastel-coloured jeans and I decided to begin with a cheaper variety to see if I like having pastel-coloured jeans. This dusty rose colour is from NewLook.

Freebie Mascara with ElleUk

It is from Soap & Glory and they went into NARS-territory to give it a sexually charged name. I kind of feel lewd saying I went to the bookshop for [...mentioning the name of the mascara...], so I won't...
They sell UK glossies in the Netherlands, but for the editions with freebies you have to go to Waterstones, that is based in Amsterdam.

Kerastase Elixir Ultime Cast-off:

I have the original, the real Kerastase, but I wanted to try out the Syoss as well. It's not as good as the Kerastase but still pretty good in taming the fuzzies. Also the fact I got it half price (5 euro) makes it easier to reach for in instead of the expensive 30 euros from Kerastase.

Mini review: Kiss Me HEAVY ROTATION long volume dynamic mascara

In my last venture on the mascara front I told you I wasn't completely overwhelmed with the Kiss Me Heroine latest mascara (post here). I still wanted to try another one, just for the heck of it and because of my eternal search for longer, fluttering lashes.

I think I mentioned I was curious about the Kiss Me Heavy Rotation one? At least, I was...so I purchased this one with my last Adambeauty order.

In general, I already noticed that the brush would probably the most standard of brushes: the old-fashion hairy brush that I actually find soft enough for my sensitive eyes. Yeh, you actually coat your lashes instead of your eyes ;P, but the plastic brush types sometimes poke in the border between lash and skin.

The title says minireview, so I am going to be really short about this. One of the reason I buy Japanese mascaras is because they understand the need to keep the curl that girls with straight lashes carefully apply to their lashes before applying mascara. Lots of Western girls, me excluded, already seem to have fluttery and curly eyelashes by themselves, and their Western mascara just fits them.

So I need a formula that keeps the curl...and basically, this mascara doesn't keep any curl at all.

For the rest it is a ok mascara, quite black, although not pitch-black. It only volumises a little bit and it doesn't really do so much lenghtwise. It will be one of those mascaras I have to wear with either my Kanebo Kate base or the Fairy Drops base in order to be noticed and keep the curl.

But overal, I can get similar type from the Western brands and that is not quite the reason I bought this one, in order to get a mediocre, Western-type mascara.

For my goal: it doesn't fit the bill. However, I love Kiss Me Heroine Gel eyeliner, so do not abandon this brand for just this mascara, their eyeliner (the pot one) is really ace.

I bought mine over here for about $12.

Targeting eyelashes: DejaVu Tiny Sniper Mascara & Kiss Me Heroine Make Impact frame & curl mascara

I have been trying out two new types of  mascaras lately.

They have both a different purpose. Eyelashes are eyelashes, but the brush and formula can make the difference. So I have a under-row lash mascara for review and a 'standard' mascara.

I start off with the special one. I spotted the DejaVu Tiny Sniper on sasa, and it was the name that got me.

Sniper, according to Wiki:
A sniper is a marksman who shoots targets from concealed positions or distances exceeding the capabilities of regular personnel. Snipers typically have specialized training and distinct high-precision rifles.

So the name is a bit...violent? But I get the idea that the sniper mascara is so good it targets the smallest lashes:

DejaVu Tiny Sniper lower lash mascara
That brings me to Sasa's description:

One of the hottest makeup items in Japan, DEJAVU FIBERWIG Tiny Sniper is a paint-on false lash that instantly transforms into wrapping firm and multiple fiber to lengthen your lashes.
Lengthen the tiny lash at the corners of eyes and lower lash
It contains the ultra-soft fiber which is specially for tiny lashes, resulting in separate lash look.
Light and smooth mascara does not cake, resulting in long and natural-looking makeup finish.
The tiny brush and long handle enable convenient and accurate application.
No “panda eyes”
It instantly transforms into adhering firm to resist sebum, water and sweat. No smudge.
Convenient removal
It could be removed by warm water. No damage to lashes
  1. Comb eyelashes with eyelash brush. Curl up eyelashes with lash curler.
  2. Take out the mascara brush. Brush your eyelashes outwards and horizontally. Brush the outer side of eyelashes first then the inner side for curly eyelashes.
  3. Apply the second layer if necessary. Reapply after the previous layer dries.
  4. Tidy up with eyelash brush.

I really like and enjoy the mascara for the tiny lashes of my under ánd upperlashes. That is right: I use it as a upperlash mascara as well. It is so precise that I get this wonderfully long and defined look. It only takes a bit longer to obtain the look, but it works.

It does wash off with warmer water. People who know the wash-off formula know it crumbles down to black tiny balls, and you can wash it off.

Overall, a wonderful mascara for a lengthening (not so thickening) and precise application of mascara.

I purchased the Tiny Sniper on sasa (here) for $12.20

To give away the clue, I have not been so enthousiastic about the next one: Kiss me Heroine Make Impact Frame & Curl Mascara.
But it is a question of preference...I will explain further.

Adambeauty has this description up on the Lash & Curl (the black, new one)
Google translate translated the Chinese into this:

Ying Xian Feng exceptionally strong long mascara. III design with a round brush to create his best eyelashes, like wearing false eyelashes, Fung Ying effect of 80% over the same series. 。 Plant wax components with triple, so lasting curl mascara all day.
Lasting waterproof formula, anti-sweat, tears, and grease.  Repair plant components, protect the eyelashes break.

Yeh, I never said Google translate is perfect...

First, the Frame and Curl is the one in black on top, and the other one in red is the Kiss Me Heroine Long& Curl one.

I basically like the red Long & Curl for the formula, but most importantly because of the brush. The formula leaves lashes curled and black, but not too stiff.

The stiffness is the biggest problem of the Frame & Curl one. But it has other downsides I dislike:

  1. The brush is not precise enough. It is one of those plastic brushes with both sides, one with hardly any brush and the other side with longer, comb-like pins. One coat left my eyelashes overcoated, and my upper eyelids as well!
  2. The formula leaves lashes like a thick coat of Superglue. Horribly stiff and unconfortable.
  3. That makes it a B%&@# to take it off. It rivals the notorious Majolica Majorca mascara times 10....
  4. So, I gotten irritated eyes the morning after because of the almost impossible way to remove it all. Yeh, I have tons of Japanese mascaras so I know how stubborn some can be (Majolica Majorca??), but this tops them all.
On the plus side, it is the most black and glossy formula ever...

I am suprised this mascara is so different than the red long & curl one of Kiss Me Heroine, because I really like that one and I rotate it on regular basis.

Still, it gotten some raves on other blogs, so it might not work for me but it could work for you.

I bought the Kiss me Heroine Frame and Curl on adambeauty over here for $15.50

Now I am curious for the Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Long Volume Dynamic mascara. I wonder how that one will work...

Did you have any new mascara discoveries lately?

Fluttering Fairies...eh...Fluttering Lashes with Fairy Drops Base Treatment Mascara

A couple of weeks ago I spotted a fairly new base mascara on Adambeauty. I was browsing their mascara section and noticed that Fairy Drops had a whole new range of mascara's.

Well, I was somewhat familiar with the fact that Fairy Drops had launched a couple of new mascaras lately, because I came across some of the reviews in the beauty blog-o-sphere.

With the exeption of one: the Fairy Drops Treatment Base Mascara in shinny Gray.

Yeh, so that was the particular one that I was curious about.

Which is not my only reason. I have a HG base mascara product for a couple of years now. The Kanebo Kate one. I absolutely love this for keeping the curl and thickening/lenghtening the lashes. But you know, I want to know if there are other options, because the Kate one can get quite hard and, let's say...a bit crispy on my lashes.

I have been familiar with Fairy Drops mascara, I believe one of their first versions, and was not too enthousiastic about it. Still, who know this one might work:

So you noticed I bought this one and it came in that cute packaging Fairy Drops is notoriously known for.

I noticed online that the tube is so gorgeously decorated. I love that about Fairy Drops. But I believe the contrast between the white and the perky pink is too adorable! It makes me happy every time I use it!

Typical for Fairy Drops, and part of why they became so big and widely know afteral, is their brush. That is not why I show you the brush beneath, but I would like to show you the colour of the base product.

Indeed, a dark grey instead of the more typical white colour that is often a part of a base product.

For people not familiar with base mascaras: they are not mascaras as the typical ones that give your lashes colour, volume, length etc, but they function as a underlayer for your real mascara.

However, users of base mascaras (such as I am) often find the white colour beneath a bit iffy, because you really have to look carefully to cover all of the white with your real, black mascara. If you don't, you get uneven lashes and perhaps even the remark "oh, do you have white mascara on? how unique?"

The dark grey substance is so much better! If you forget some parts because you are in a hurry, it does not matter so much, because the colour is already close to the other dark colour you will be using for mascara (either black, blue, purple, etc).

Close up of the substance:

This is quite a close up! You can also see some sparkles in the substance. Also, it contains fibers. I prefer fibers in my mascara for that extra bit of length.

Do I like it:

  • I actually do! It differs from the Kanebo Kate as my lashes seem to stay soft and bendeable, thus more natural. However, I do not loose my curl I so carefully applied to my lashes! This mascara does not feel so 'present' on my lashes because it is not so stiff. And that is something I like.
  • It gives the extra volume, just like it promises. I should compare this one with Kate, that is one eye with Fairy Drops and one eye with Kate Base to see if one lenghtens/thickens a bit more than the other.
  • I already mentioned the fact I prefer a darker grey base over the white one
  • I cannot say too much about the long term effect on the lashes. It claims to treat them as well with some essence. I can feel it being soft on my lashes, but if it actually improves or nourishes my lashes, I have to see that with long-term useage.
For the people curious about the ingredients, I have them here in English:

Overal, I ventured on something new and found quite an interesting new base mascara in my book.

I purchased it over here on my regular online hangout spot Adambeauty...
