Beauty & Finance

I and most of my fellow beautybloggers I follow spend quite some money on beauty. Sometimes I see other women getting good or better results on the mix of long-time favourites and not-too-expensive cosmetics they use.

Just a question: how is that for you? What is your reason for spending more whereas something less expensive could give an equal performance?

I guess the decision is based on experience/preconception/emotions attached to a particular brand or product. Your personality also has the impact. I love chic and elegant makeup that tend to tie with more wearable and nuanced colors. I think high-end brands deliver these type of colors much better than drugstore and generally have better texture, staying powder, easy to layer.
