unveiling the MYSTERY

Haven't I told you about the MYSTERY box I have bought on gmarket a month ago? Yes I did (read over it here).

So....what was the content of the MYSTERY box that gmarket was tempting me with? Shall we open the box together?

Is it true? Did I just see a camera in that box?

Yes! I found a dinky, little polaroid type of camera in the MYSTERY box...How cute!

It is actually a pretty good brand: Fuiji film: to be more precise, the fujifilm instax mini 7s.

Okay, I unpacked the box...there are lots of technical thingies inside:

There it is. A funky looking white and blue camera, some ready-and-click photosheets (like polaroid) and gmarket even included batteries.

Also, a blue hardcased box to store the camera in:

There is the little camera. It looks like children's toys, so very round and play-like.

Ha ha, how fun! I have tried to make a picture already. It makes credit-card sized pictures, which I consider to be fun, but not very functional.

Also, as with polaroid photos as well, I have to buy new cartridges/films if I want to make lots of pictures. Right now I have 8 ready-to-go film sheets. Yesasia sells the films for $14.99 (10 pcs)...I would definitely hesitate snapping away lots of pictures for this price. Anyway, I still like the gift...it is so cute.

First I thougt that gmarket sent me some old stock of a product, but I found out that it has been launched a couple of months ago. I bought the box for $6 (exclusive shipping) on gmarket. I saw it being sold on yesasia for $83.99.

So, what do you think of the MYSTERY I received? Was it worth the $6?

That camera looks interesting! Imo opinion, so long a you're going to use it and you paid less than what it normally retails, then it's worth it! =)

Have fun playing with it!
