My very first gmarket haul was...Cathy Cath Pop Blusher

I am a bit p&ssed, because Customs keep hostage of my third gmarket buy....&%$#@*grrrrlll...They cannot resist charging taxes over the 20 euros that exceed the import rate...Darn b@stards! I want my goodies...

Anyway, I posted my second gmarket haul in the past, let me post some pictures of my first one.

It was a very small haul, just one item. I am always a bit wary when making my first order with a webshop, so I tend to keep my orders small. And, ofcourse, dreadful Customs are keeping a close eye on every package that exceeds the measly 22 euro limit to importing products. It would be such a relief, when next year, this rate will be increased to 100 euros, or so.

I ordered the Cathy Cath Pop Blusher after seeing the gorgeous pictures on the guru-blog of Korean cosmetics, lotuspalace.blogspot.com. This blusher was too cute to resist! It had a fun outside, and the product itself was moulded in the form of a belt....That is too much temptation for a fashion-savvy and cosmetic-junkie like I am

As you can see: there is a plastic separator between the blush itself and the brush, so the amount of damage on your product by the brush (or clumsiness in general) is limited.

Now a little review upon the product itself: The pigmentation is quite good. It deposits a fair amount of colour on the skin. The only downsite is the colour itself: it is simply a bit too pink for my skin. So I might swap it on MUA or tempt my friends with it...teehee. I do think it can work on a variety of skintones, and it is especially suited for the cute and princessy look, but the colour is just not my thing...

So, that was a short review upon my first gmarket purchase. I will try to keep you updated, however, I have had quite a bad week last week (I was refused for a Master Degree study program I was really looking forward to joining...)so I lack a bit of inspiration right now. So I hope things will get better soon....

Ahaha! I have this too...I still haven't used it though, but I like pink so it should be coolio, I Hope!

Glad you liked my spooky pics....Are you a hirst fan?? I have a terrible love/hate relationship with "ART",I am totally senseless with these things.

Oscar Wilde had this great quote:

The only excuse for making a useless
thing is that one admires it intensely.
All art is quite useless

Ohhh! Nice Haul!
I think I might give the NO!NO! a try before the holidays.
What are your thoughts on hair laser removal?

glowchaser, thank you so much for your sweet words...I remember Oscar Wilde's 'art for art sake - beauty for beauty's sake'-mentality, and a person like Hirst is sometimes critisised for not making 'real' art...but then again, what is real art? ha ha I will not get too philosophical right now.

mrs. Zeus, I am really looking forward to your review of the No!No! I haven't tried laser yet...it is not so easily available over here, and there has not been a certain standard for beauticians who practicise laser removal. And I do not want to be in the hands of some kind of charlatan who totally ruins my face...eeek. I think the standard will be there soon...but the No!No! sounds rather safe, so does the Tria. I might buy one of those soon...
