(I am one of those crazy people who can have internal dialoges....and no, I do not have a multiple personality disorder, LOL)
Anyway, back to business. Our blush of today is La Roche Posay, or abbreviated LRP, Blush Stretch 02 in Rose Acidulé. I was not aware that LRP sold makeup as well. We have some pharmacies that sell LRP skincare but I had never seen a separate stand with makeup. However, when I went to Paris in December I found out that LRP sold some pretty lovely makeup as well.
I was attracted to the blush section as a seaman to a siren's voice. The selection is quite small: they have 4 colours which focus on light to medium skintone. Two of those I found very lovely, the 03 Beige Praline and 02 Rose Acidulé.
I was more attracted to the Rosy colour. It was the beginning of the winter and I was looking for yet another colour that would mimic the rosy from-the-cold look that I associate with winter. A tawny beige would be just too bronzy for me.
LRP is a pharmacy brand. The box itself has a clinical white appearance. Nothing girly or frilly. Its packaging is so far away from the Benefit Coralista I blogger about (here) or some of the Korean beauties I have acquired.
The blush itself is placed in black plastic with a clear plastic over it. Again, it looks very minimalistic and a bit boring.
But I would not purchase a blush if I would be completely insatisfied. The box might be a bit blah, but I adore the content.
It is a rosy colour with a slight cool tinge in it. It has a wonderful sheen which glows on the skin. It lacks glitter or glimmery parts, which I prefer in a daytime blush.
I also found it to be very versitile looking in different angles and different types of light. For example, the next picture shows a rosy colour (natural warm light).
The moment I saw this picture, I was amazed that I detected a bit of peach inside. I think that the sheen-particles were able to reflect the warmer light that I was able to get from the sun.
And when I look at the next picture, made in cool light and shadow, I see a cool rose (only watch how the front looks more warm again).
The 'Stretch technology' of the blush helps, according to the site of La roche Posay "to give dimension to the face. I cannot say anything if there is truely a stetch component inside.
But it glides smoothly over my skin. The pigment also transfers over the cheeks in a balanced way. That is absolutely my kind of Yoga, ehm...stretch.Ingredients:

Overal, I would give this a 3 and a half.
I bought mine in Paris for 16 euro. You can also purchase this at easypharmacie over here and I posted a tutorial to order from their site over here. you know what? i didn't knoe LRP has makeup!!! we only have its skincare. i am only familiar with very few of the stuff such as SS.

I didn't know that either...their selection in France is so much wider. They sell foundations, lipstick and other colour makeup as well.
Thanks for the review! I already use the sunscreens and the face creams when my skin is upset!
I have never tried their makeup, but I will give it a try. My skin can be irritable, so it's definitely worth looking at.

yea helen i've done a post on the la roche-posay makeup that i have. the quality is decent! they even have a paraben-free foundation.
